You've Done It!

The Time for Therapy Team want to say a huge congratulations to this year’s counselling graduates! No matter what route you have taken to get your qualifications, we are so proud of your achievements and are thrilled to have you join us in this incredible, life-changing profession. Counselling qualifications are not easy and require so much self-reflection alongside complex study topics. We don’t know of many courses which change you from the inside out and have such a profound impact on your life.

Time for Private Practice?

And as you maybe begin a journey into setting up in private practice, we fully understand the costs involved which is exactly why we charge so little to advertise on our platform. In today’s tech-savvy world, there is simply no need for online platforms to be so over-priced. You need a community that cares and a company that gives back rather than lining its own pockets. In short, you need an ethical UK company run by fellow ethical practitioners….well…..TADAH!

Our Journey Continues

We also continue to feel humbled and encouraged by the support from the counselling community and the belief you are showing in us. We are growing quickly beyond our expectations and dreaming of the day – not too far away we hope – when we can start financially supporting counsellors in need via our hardship fund. We’ve got high hopes and big ideas; free events, retreats, CPD events and we’ll be collaborating with you all on what other ideas you have that we can make a reality.

We’ve inevitably come up against a few trolls as we seek to shake up the status quo with current advertising platforms – we even saw a comment on a Facebook counselling group where someone had tried to say they were ‘nearly hacked’ just for visiting our website – which is of course, impossible, and actually made our Tech Team giggle. In a way, we felt quite honoured and took it as a sign we are doing something right. Things have got to change: those of us that care for others also need to be cared about and the current providers/platforms just don’t measure up.
