Welcome to Time for Therapy (the “Platform”), an online service operated by Time for Therapy Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform, including any content, functionality, and services offered through the website, available at www.timefortherapy.co.uk.

By registering as a counsellor or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Platform.

1. Eligibility and Registration

• 1.1. To register as a counsellor on the Platform, you must:
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be fully qualified and registered with a recognised regulatory body (e.g., BACP, UKCP).
  • Submit accurate and verifiable information during registration, including your qualifications and credentials.
• 1.2. We reserve the right to verify your credentials and may request additional documentation. Failure to provide requested verification may result in suspension or removal from the Platform.
• 1.3. We reserve the right to check your registration remains valid. Any lapse will cause your profile to be disabled and your subscription cancelled.
• 1.4. You agree to inform us of any lapse in your registration or cancel your subscription yourself.

2. Counsellor Responsibilities

• 2.1. You are solely responsible for:
  • The accuracy of your profile and any content you post.
  • Maintaining valid registration and professional indemnity insurance.
  • Ensuring all communications and services offered comply with professional standards and relevant legal regulations.
• 2.2. You agree not to:
  • Misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or services.
  • Use the Platform to diagnose, treat, or offer emergency support.
  • Solicit clients outside the Platform in a manner that violates our policies or your regulatory body's ethical guidelines.

3. Platform Functionality

• 3.1. The Platform provides counsellors with tools to create a profile, advertise services, and receive inquiries from potential clients.
• 3.2. We do not:
  • Endorse or recommend any individual counsellor.
  • Guarantee leads, client engagement, or commercial outcomes.
  • Mediate disputes between counsellors and clients.

4. Subscription and Payments

• 4.1. Access to certain features of the Platform requires a subscription fee. By subscribing, you agree to our Subscription Terms and Refund Policy.
• 4.2. Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider. We do not store credit card details.
• 4.3. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

• 5.1. You retain ownership of any content you upload to your profile. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote it for the purposes of operating the Platform.
• 5.2. You must not upload content that is misleading, unlawful, offensive, or violates intellectual property rights.
• 5.3. All Platform content, branding, and design remain the intellectual property of Time for Therapy Ltd and may not be copied or reused without permission.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

• 6.1. We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You agree to comply with all applicable data protection laws in your use of the Platform.
• 6.2. You must not share client information without their consent or store sensitive data on the Platform.

7. Termination and Suspension

• 7.1. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you:
  • Breach these Terms.
  • Provide false or misleading information.
  • Are subject to a professional conduct investigation or disciplinary action.
• 7.2. You may cancel your subscription and remove your profile at any time via your account settings.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• 8.1. The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
• 8.2. We are not liable for:
  • Actions taken by clients or users.
  • Loss of income or opportunity.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• 8.3. Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount paid by you in the last 12 months.

9. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the UK. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UK.
