Anger and impulse control
Anger and Impulse Control often requires support to help people choose appropriate responses rather than acting out aggressively or impulsively.
Anger and impulse control refers to a person’s ability to manage strong emotions and resist the urge to act on sudden or intense feelings, especially in stressful or triggering situations.
People who struggle with anger and impulse control may feel easily irritated, overwhelmed, or out of control during conflict or frustration. They might react with yelling, aggression, or risky behaviors without fully thinking through the consequences. These intense emotional responses can happen suddenly and feel difficult to stop once they begin.
Poor anger and impulse control can negatively affect relationships, lead to trouble at work or school, and increase the risk of legal or health problems. Over time, it can cause isolation, low self-esteem, and ongoing cycles of conflict or regret, especially if the underlying emotions aren't acknowledged or managed in healthy ways.
