About me
Hello, I’m Kayleigh. I’m a pluralistic integrative therapist, working primarily with adults who feel stressed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted. I provide a calm, structured, and non-judgmental space where we can explore what’s happening in your life, understand patterns that may be holding you back, work towards goals and develop strategies to manage stress, anxiety, low mood, or burnout. My aim is to create a collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and supported as you navigate life’s challenges.
How We Can Work Together
I believe in working pluralistically and collaboratively, meaning our sessions are shaped around your needs, preferences, and pace. I draw from evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Person-Centred Therapy. While these tools guide our work, the core focus of therapy is the relationship we build, establishing what best fits your needs and creating a safe and open space together.
Within our sessions, we can explore thoughts and emotions, reflect on experiences, and develop practical strategies for managing anxiety, stress, or low mood. I provide a calm, contained space to process without pressure, and your feedback shapes how we move forward together.
Who I Support
I work with adults experiencing:
Anxiety, overthinking, or persistent worry
Self-criticism or feeling “not enough”
Burnout or emotional exhaustion
Stress from work, university or academic stress, caring roles, or balancing relationships
Low mood, loneliness, or overwhelm
Life transitions, or periods of uncertainty
What Our Sessions Could Look Like
Sessions with me are calm, grounded, and unhurried. You can show up exactly as you are. Some days we talk and reflect, work through strategies, and problem-solve, other days we simply create a quiet space to breathe and settle. Both are welcome and we’ll find what feels manageable, safe, and helpful.
Getting Started
I offer an initial call via phone or online, and have a range of slots throughout the week for online counselling sessions. This provides a chance for us to get to know each other, discuss your current situation, your goals for therapy, and how you would like to work through these together. Whether you are seeking counselling for stress, anxiety, or burnout, or simply a supportive space to process life’s challenges, let's explore it together.
Training, qualifications & experience
Experience
I have worked as a therapist with adults in both charities and private practice, supporting a wide range of challenges including stress, anxiety, low mood, self-criticism, burnout, and life transitions. In addition to my adult practice, I provide counselling in schools and am a qualified teacher, specialising in supporting young people in alternative provisions, including those with autism, ADHD, and other learning or social-emotional support needs. This combined experience allows me to offer flexible, tailored approaches that meet each client’s unique needs.
