As a person-centred therapist, I believe in the healing power of a genuine, respectful relationship. I won’t direct or diagnose you — instead, I’ll walk alongside you, helping you reconnect with your own inner strength and sense of self.
Not one size fits all, hence I tailor my practice to each client and work in a culturally sensitive way.
I have extensive experience working with:
Perfectionism
Anxiety and panic
Identity issues, life transitions
Depression, low mood
Self-harm
Grief, bereavement, and loss
Childhood sexual abuse (CSA) and complex trauma
PTSD and trauma-related responses
Domestic, psychological/emotional and physical abuse
My approach to trauma work is also shaped by personal understanding. I know how difficult it can be to sit with pain that’s been carried — sometimes silently — for many years. That’s why I take a gentle, client-led approach, offering steadiness, compassion, and sensitivity to what you need, moment by moment.
In our sessions, you’ll find a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space. My core approach is person-centred, meaning we work at your pace and focus on what matters most to you. I also draw from Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices. This integrative approach allows us to tailor therapy to your unique needs—whether that’s exploring emotions, reshaping unhelpful patterns, or developing practical tools for everyday life.
Please feel free to contact me for a free 15-minute consultation so you could check whether we are a good fit or if you’d like to arrange an initial session.
I’d be honoured to support you.
