As a person-centred therapist, I believe in the healing power of a genuine, respectful relationship. I won’t direct or diagnose you — instead, I’ll walk alongside you, helping you reconnect with your own inner strength and sense of self. I tailor my work to each individual, offering trauma-informed support where needed, and always holding space for your unique pace and process.
I have extensive experience working with:
Childhood sexual abuse (CSA) and complex trauma
PTSD and trauma-related responses
Domestic, psychological/emotional and physical abuse
Depression, low mood
Self-harm
Anxiety and panic
Grief, bereavement, and loss
My approach to trauma work is also shaped by personal understanding. I know how difficult it can be to sit with pain that’s been carried — sometimes silently — for many years. That’s why I take a gentle, client-led approach, offering steadiness, compassion, and sensitivity to what you need, moment by moment.
You won’t be rushed or judged. Together, we’ll create a therapeutic space where you feel safe enough to be yourself and heard without interruption. Whether you’re beginning therapy for the first time or returning after previous work, I offer calm, grounded support to help you reconnect with your voice, your boundaries, and your sense of worth.
Please feel free to contact me if you’d like to arrange an initial session or ask any questions. I’d be honoured to support you.
