I offer you a welcoming, friendly, and safe space in which I will listen to you without judgement whilst recognising and accepting you as an individual.
Your therapy sessions will be tailored around you, the individual, as I recognise therapy is not 'one size fits all.' You are the expert of your mental health and your desires for change. I am not in your head to know your thought process. Together we can build a counselling relationship based on trust and respect.
I trained as a Person-Centred Counsellor, through my work with a rape crisis centre, I had extensive trauma-informed therapy training. I had always had an interest in using creative art during sessions, which after a course I began using with some clients whether face to face or online. This is always the client's choice. I have learnt numerous interventions that can help with anxiety, stress, and overthinking, to name a few, and, again, I may recommend something, but it is always my client's choice whether or not to try them.
I do not limit the number of sessions as it takes individuals different times to reach a point they are happy with. I often check in with you to ensure you are benefiting from your sessions, seeing changes, and if there is anything you would like me to adjust.
